What do you need to look really relaxed on the water? A seaside chair (Adirondack Chair) from Hamburg made by Christof – a chair that you too could win! Pascal and Christof know each other through the “Business”. Both, however, then suddenly realised that there is another focus in life: the water and the SUP. This suddenly gives everyone another centre of trust and releases unbelievable energy! We hope that Christof will manage to accompany Pascal for a few kilometres on the SUP!

Pascal has dreamed of a windsurfing sponsor since childhood. With Fanatic, the world’s largest manufacturer of windsurfers and SUPs, this dream has come true after a decades’ long wait. The shared flow between Karin and Craig Gertenbach and Pascal makes many things, which at first glance seem impossible, possible! On 20 July 2017 the RACE FALCON Air 14’0″ x 29″ and Pascal set out together on their great adventure towards the Black Sea, spending plenty of time together on river and on land!

When, on 1 April 2017 Pascal looked out of his office window, on the other side of the street was a GARMIN T5, and Pascal believed that GARMIN would become a partner for his project. And with this trust in his own intuition, that’s how things worked out. The mantra he now shares with Garmin is #BEATYESTERDAY. Pascal will discover how it feels to become that little bit better every day, or to simply capture that special moment each day for himself. The FENIX 5 Multisport Smartwatch counts each paddle stroke to the Black Sea and the VIRB 360 Camera captures those special moments.

Patagonia
The SUP Nature Project wouldn’t exist if Pascal hadn’t read the book “Let My People Go Surfing: The Education of a Reluctant Businessman” by the founder of Patagonia, Yvon Choinard, more than eight years ago. Since that time he has begun to think intensively about the “Business World” and his interaction with nature. He took his first step with the foundation of P&T in 2013, and a further one with the first SUP Nature Project in 2016. The next steps are taking place with the founding of Pure Water for Generations e.V. and the second SUP Nature Project. Yvon Chouinard has done more than simply inspire Pascal!

We really recommend that you sign up to the Patagonia newsletter and take a look at the terrific film presentations. Something is bound to happen. On 1 December 2016 Pascal saw/heard the film and presentation from Rok Rozman about his Balkan Rivers Tour. Subsequently, Pascal and Norman from Polarstern got to known one another over a beer and this was the start of the partnership. Pascal’s electricity comes 100% ecologically from Polarstern. Making sure that nothing happens to Pascal and the other paddlers when on the water is the job of Christopher with the Restube. When two businesspeople talk to one another, have the same flow, and have “over” three mutual acquaintances everything moves quickly and by handshake. It can be so easy and the world is so small!

Sunnawind
A few years ago Pascal brought the windsurfing André safely back to the banks of Lake Kochel with his SUP – and friendship followed. It was then only a matter of time before André discovered the joys of the SUP for himself. And now it is André who, with his company Sunnawind, offers SUP courses, tours and team events, as well as continuing to vitally support Pascal with his SUP know-how. André and Pascal combine nature, water and wind through windsurfing and on their SUPs!

Weihenstephaner Bavarian State Brewery
Pascal’s beer mat idea is already legendary, and he has always believed in its possibility, while many others simply laughed at him. Through our network we were able to get in touch with the Weihenstephan Bavarian State Brewery and it’s worked. We are proud to be able to share coasters with the oldest brewery in the world! And we already had something in common: the water!
